so what’s this blog about, anyway?

Lets say my excuse for not updating is…”growing pains.” yeah, thats the ticket.

I want to be honest, it’s hard to blog. There are a million things out there to write about and not one of them will pop into your head at the right time. I’ll be on the train, think of the best topic in the world to write about, but by the time I get home it’s either gone or the couch is just a little too comfy.


I got other people involved in the blog hoping that they would be able to contribute and let me be lazy, but blogging is just as hard for them as it is for me. I don’t fault them for it and I hope that they don’t think I would be mad at them. If you read this, I love you guys and don’t hate you!


So I think this blog will continue, yes, I love the idea of this blog. But I think I might change it’s direction slightly. I think I may add a more personal touch to it than previously envisioned…


In late March/early April I will be going full-time with my craft. It’s awesome/terrifying/exciting/scary. and I think I’d like to catalog my struggle here if to only add to what Handmade Brooklyn is and can be. I hope my journey aids other artists, and more than that I hope it gives others a reason to contribute their stories.


So thank you to those who have kept an eye on the site and please continue to stick around for the main event.
