FINALLY

Finally had a good show! I had an ambitious goal of $1k for the show…didn’t make it but made enough that I can actually pay for supplies again (I’m out of lye, SORT OF necessary ingredient in soap!).

It was a huge motivator for me to have a good show…so many setbacks and fears have been coming in that I secretly began to become a fatalist with my mindset. Now I think this success has helped me kick the fatalist back down and bring back the less-heard optimistic cheerleader inside of me.

The next 2 weekends I have shows in Brooklyn which will be a nice change of scenery. It will be weird not having to go to La Guardia on Friday to pick up a car (I’ll take a car service to the shows instead). Here’s hoping for more good days!
